The hotel was an ideal base for enjoying a downtown area, really close to many attractions and good restaurants as well as the downtown area. Everyone was amicable as well as host. I had the a double room which was reasonably large for accessories. The property had a marvellous location easy walk to Museo Belber Jimenez. Great service offered in this hotel. Got ironing free of charge, not bad too. I spent 2 nights here and enjoyed that👍

Natural light floods the rooms. The space is overall nicely decorated.
The shower had weak water pressure. It also only provided cold water at times. Bathrooms felt cramped, lacking space for toiletries, and there were unpleasant sewage odors at times. Spotty WiFi required keeping the door open to connect adequately.

The location was perfect, just steps from all attractions. Water pressure in the shower could be stronger.

The Casa Sofi Oaxaca Bed & Breakfast is, well, quaint in its own way. Having to deal with an unacceptably low water pressure and suffocating sewage smell isn't exactly a luxury stay. I would have expected a complimentary upgrade for putting up with all that, yet here I am as regular as everyone else, just couldn't comprehend it!

great location but some small inconveniences
Gerardo was attentive, allowing my friend to stay beyond check-out when she was unwell while also arranging a taxi for us! The kitchen area was well-stocked, offering a cozy space to enjoy coffee. We loved the charming courtyard with a beautiful spot.
The shower pressure could use improvement.

The central location was great. The beautifully designed room had comfy bedding and large fluffy towels that added to the cozy feel. While the old building's charm was evident, the water pressure in the shower was disappointing, and there were a few instances of unpleasant smells in the bathroom. The homemade rolls available in the kitchen were a good treat to start our mornings.
